2025 - 25th Anniversary (Invitational)
The 2025 Competition marks the 25th Anniversary of WIPAC's founding. This year's competition will be a special event inviting past winners. Guidelines and details are in process.

2026 - Open Competition
We will resume our normal open competition for pianists 31 years and older in 2026. Dates are to be announced.
Application Guidelines (Using 2024 for 2026 Preparation)
The following application materials from the 2024 competition can be used as a guide to prepare for the 2026 Washington International Piano Artists Competition. Final forms for 2026 will be posted when available.
The program guide can be used as a written reference. Information about specific recordings previously listed here will be moved to the Highlights page for relevant years.
